These basic rules have been put in place to ensure Bhoir's Gymkhana run efficiently within the safest environment possible for your child. We appreciate your co-operation.
- Arrive early! It is particularly upsetting for the younger children to arrive after all the others have started. Please ensure you are punctual collecting your child as coaches will be teaching the next class. Please wait in the entrance seating area during classes. Keep all exits clear.
- Only gymnasts and coaches allowed on the gym floor. Ensure all children in your care (excluding gymnasts) are fully supervised and kept off the gym floor at all times.
- Our coaches wish to maximize coaching time with their gymnasts, if you wish to speak to us please do so at the end of the class. Please do not drop off your own or any other child early to watch the classes unattended. The Gym Club cannot be responsible for these children until their own class begins
- If your gymnast is expected to be away for more than a week at a time please inform their coach.
- Please advice the Gym Club of any change of circumstance, i.e. medical, change of addresses and in particular change of phone number. With over 400 gymnasts going through the gym each day the amount of lost property is substantial. All lost property will be cleared at the end of each half term
- All gymnasts must attend and take part in the warm up. It is an essential part of the training that helps prevent injury.
- No jewelry what so ever, including ear studs or body piercing adornments, watches, hand band, ringer ring, anklet jewelry to be worn at anytime during training or competition. This constitutes a safety hazard.
- Please wear appropriate tracksuit or training clothes i.e. no skirts, baggy clothing or jeans
- No fizzy drinks or food in the gym.
- The child should be medically fit for gymnastics training in Bhoir's Gymkhana.
- Disciplinary action will be taken if any student misbehaved or found undisciplined.
- ID card and uniform is compulsory in the gym, failing which students will not be allowed for training.
- Injuries are natural in sports training, so every child should have a medical insurance to for gymnastics training. In case of injury the gym will look after the first aid and the parents have to report immediately for further treatment.
- It is parent's responsibility to send their child 10 minutes prior to scheduled batch timing and repeated lateness without instructor or gym notification and agreement will not be tolerated.
- Parents should be present to pick their ward up at the end of his/her schedule class. Also it is parent's responsibility if the child leaves the premises without notifying gym authorities at the end of the class.
- If you have any question, ask the coach after class or schedule a meeting time. Should their be a problem with a particular instructor or a problem with anything to do with your child and the gym, Please do not hesitate to discuss the same with management.
- Parents should not coach from the sidelines or interfere in the coaching system or disturb coach. As child will be safer and learn more from the instructor and get more out of class.
- Parents should be aware that children are needed to be physically supported while training by male coaches for the safety of the gymnast.
- We are aware that getting competitive success is not easy and can consume time. Also result given by any gymnast is directly related to the response by him/her to the coaching system.
- Any change in any field of students declaration form will be reported to gym reception staff to update student's profile.
